Hvorslev, born in Stockholm in 1935, is one of Sweden’s most influential jewelry designers. She began experimenting with jewelry at age thirteen and later graduated from Konstfackskolan in Stockholm. After apprenticing with notable designers, including at Georg Jensen in Copenhagen, she established her own workshop in Lidköping in 1964.
