Description

Earrings by Oscar Pärno for Opifors AB. Amazingly simple yet detailed work, the pieces created in partly oxidized silver with Amethysts set in the middle.

Oscar Pärno was a jeweller in Sweden, known for his work with precious metals in the 1960s. He is particularly associated with jewellery in silver and gold. Some of his notable pieces include silver bracelets from 1963 adorned with synthetic purple stones, as well as earrings in 18K gold with cabochon-cut emeralds and diamonds from the 1960s. He operated in the Johanneshov area. Pärno’s work is often marked with the name stamp “OPI,” which is linked to his creations.
